In the State of Florida, ordinarily the obligation to support a child ends when that child reaches eighteen, marries, or becomes financially independent. However, child support may continue beyond the child's eighteenth birthday. If the child is still in high school after turning eighteen and has a reasonable likelihood of graduating, than child support continues until the child graduates, but child support does not continue beyond the child's nineteenth birthday. In addition to basic child support, the parents have an obligation to pay for daycare expenses and medical expenses of the child.

I could send this angel song to divorcees to cheer them up. I want to prosecute my former boyfriend, so I talked to my Member of Parliament and sent the song to Gordon Brown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCEWhEuhRoo (lyrics annotated)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znUtocdwnYw (BETTER SOUND QUALITY)

Brahms Lullaby

Gordon Brown! Gordon Brown!
Will you be my angel?
Guardian angel is what I meant
Will you rescue my soul?

For you are in charge
Of these people I wrote to
Stephen Timms, Jack Straw
Let me place my trust in you

Gordon Brown! MP’s!
Let me sing out loud
For what you do, for my country
For my reproductive system

You right wrongs! My right’s been wronged
I am desperate for you
Not just you! There’s Jon Herring
I’m a violated woman

Gordon Brown, help me sleep!
Help me sleep like a baby
Will my babies ever come out?
Maternal desires!
I lost my womanhood
In a sinister curse
Gordon Brown! Bring it back!
You are perfect for that!

It certainly may lead to some people trying to put their children off the idea of higher education. Especially whilst people are still struggling so much financially. This is very much a time will tell situation I feel.

Interesting post. I think the number of divorces is likely to be affected more by the credit crunch than the number of marriages.

Having just looked at the trends now, it seems quite different to the ones you posted all that time ago. Unfortunately, most searches to do with divorce at the moment are revolved around lawyers!
